HPC Kernel Developer

Job Description: Instrumental, Inc. is seeking a Senior Linux kernel developer interested in being a part of a small, focused, enterprise performance computing company. This position would be focused on the development and debugging of Lustre in an HPC Security-Enhanced Linux environment. Extensive kernel experience, including internals and/or device drivers in SELinux, Solaris, System V, Unicos, in an HPC environment highly desired. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industry experience in the following areas:
• Development of compilers & tools for HPC systems.
• Hardware/software interfaces and storage driver development.
• Lustre, SAM-QFS, PAN-FS, or GPFS file systems.
• Feature development (kernel loadable modules, file system related commands).
• ANSI C, Bourne/C shells, makefiles, and kerberos internals.
• Project planning & strong analytical skills.
This position will require you to qualify for a Department of Defense security clearance so you must be a U.S. Citizen to apply.
