Job Description
Successful candidate will be responsible for the installation configuration and support of Red Hat Linux enterprise-class server configurations. Candidate is required to have proven Linux experience (troubleshooting, configuration, patching, etc), Filesystem experience (GPFS would be ideal), Blade system configuration and management experience, solid experience troubleshooting services issues (DNS, NIS, LDAP, email, etc), and solid understanding of networking (FC SAN, TCP/IP) as it relates on the server side. Skills in the following areas are highly desired:
- Virtualization (VMware vSphere / KVM)
- Systems management
- Strong Unix scripting skills (Java, Perl, C, Bourne, Korn)
- Current RHCE is a plus.
