Job Description
Candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of Netbackup Software applications within Linux, Unix and Windows environments. Candidate will be expected to tune Netbackup Environments to run as efficiently as possible, as well as architecting Netbackup solutions based on Customer requirements utilizing Best Practices for Disaster Recovery planning and implantation Candidate will also ensure customer readiness and schedule appropriate resources for Netbackup software upgrades and will configure NDMP options and Data Domain Plug-in for Symantec Open Storage API that runs on the NetBackup Media Servers to utilize Data Domain de-duplication for disaster recovery solutions.
