Gartner selected Instrumental for its Cool Vendors in Supply Chain Execution Technologies report for 2018, a yearly report identifying the most cutting-edge tech companies on the market.

The report, led by Dwight Klappich, highlights the ways Instrumental is bringing manufacturing into the 21st century with innovative technology that gives engineers valuable insights into their manufacturing processes.

Instrumental’s tools help engineering teams continuously improve their products, reduce risk, and move smoothly through build cycles. Gartner notes that Instrumental offers the first product on the market to combine actionable data in the form of high resolution images with unique machine learning algorithms that provide insights on that data.

Instrumental’s algorithms are unique in that they catch unanticipated defects, enabling rapid iteration during hardware development. With data on every unit built, engineers can focus on the most pressing issues and build higher quality products in a shorter amount of time.

The report describes Instrumental’s solutions to be useful for any company with pressures to meet hardware product launch dates, from first prototype through production, no matter the industry.

According to Forbes, Gartner's Cool Vendors program regards companies offering "innovations that have the potential to transform their markets." We are excited to be included and for Gartner's support of our vision for manufacturing.
